DAR Al Uloum in Al-Jouf region represents the Headquarters of Abdulrahman Al-Sudairy Cultural Centre, and is made up of the main Administrative Building, DAR Al Uloum Library, The Women’s Library, and Al-Jouf Hall. The library was one of the first public libraries to be established in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while The Women’s Library in Al-Jouf is literally the first public library for women in the entire Kingdom. DAR Al Uloum was first established in the year 1383AH /1963AD when the Founder decided to establish the Public Cultural Library in the city of Sakaka using his own private funds to do so. He strongly believed in his vision and dedicated his time and efforts to developing the library, making it one of the brightest beacons in the region, known by everyone today as DAR Al Uloum.
