Munira bint Mohammed Al-Melhem Library

This library was established, furnished and is run from the endowment funds granted by Munira h bin Mohammed Al Mulham – peace be upon her soul – late wife of Prince Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al Sudairy – peace be upon him. The library is five hundred square foot in size (500 m2) and consists of a public reading room, private reading rooms, an internet section and a special section for children that is equipped with audio-visual books and material appropriate for children of all ages. This library is home to a wide range of books and publications on various topics that are arranged in accordance to the same index system used in Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al Sudairy Library, a matter that enables visitors to obtain any book available in both libraries hassle free. Visitors can also benefit from the free internet corner where they can surf the net and obtain all the information they need. The library is connected to Prince Sultan Abdul Aziz Lecture Hall through a state-of-the-art audio-visual system that can transmit seminars and lectures live to the Women’s section. The library was officially opened to the public on the date 8/3/1427H corresponding 6/4/2006 AD by The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz – God bless his soul - when he was the Prince of Al Riyadh region.
